I have often berated myself for being quite masculine. I feel like I’m somehow doing something wrong, and not truly being myself, because of how I am – because of the traits that I take on particularly at work.
Earlier in the year, I made a list of masculine and feminine traits, which were fairly generic, and sort of confirmed for me that I live more in masculine energy than in feminine energy.
That didn’t make me feel good.
Here’s some of that list of masculine and feminine traits:
But more recently, it has been suggested to me that one of my masculine traits is to name and label things. Hence, if I removed the label of ‘masculine’ to myself, I actually already feel better. I actually embody a lot of feminine traits quite regularly.
It is more about accepting that I am using both my masculine and feminine energies and traits, and to utilise each to my advantage when I need them. It is about being more conscious about bringing in and using different energies. And it’s not about labelling myself as masculine!
Here are a list of words that can embody feminine energy, and they are very powerful:
I certainly feel like a lot of these words relate to me, and there are some (like nurturing, passive, playful and sensual) which I want to express more often.
